Jason C. Moss, MA, LCPC

Jason Carl Moss, LCPC, is a child and adolescent therapist at Summit Therapy Center and a former school adjustment counselor with more than 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. Originally from the Boston area and now practicing in Billings, Jason brings a calm, client-centered approach to children experiencing anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, developmental differences, behavioral challenges, and family stress. He also spent 13 years at a year-round special education school in Waltham, MA that served children 6-22 who needed more support than a regular public school could provide. He has experience with ABA (applied behavior analysis), de-escalation techniques and IEP’s.

Jason integrates play therapy, AutPlay®-informed interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, art-based activities, and talk therapy based on each child’s developmental needs and communication style. He has a particular strength in connecting with boys and neurodivergent children, including those who may have difficulty expressing themselves verbally or engaging in more traditional forms of therapy.

His work emphasizes emotional regulation, confidence, healthy relationships, and helping children feel understood within their family systems. Jason also values caregiver involvement and works to strengthen attachment and connection between children and the adults who care for them.

Throughout his career, Jason has worked collaboratively with families, schools, Child Protective Services, and other community partners. He understands that children are often supported by multiple systems and believes coordinated, respectful communication can help families build greater stability and consistency.

Jason also enjoys incorporating outdoor activities, movement, and shared experiences into relationship building when appropriate. His approachable style and ability to connect directly with children allow him to serve as a steady and positive adult presence while helping young clients develop skills that extend beyond the therapy room.

He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. He did internships at Concord Carlisle RHS in Concord and Pierce Elemtary School in Arlington, MA. Family currently lives in Dublin Ireland. Parents are retired and sister works for the National Gallery of Ireland.

Jason is currently accepting new child and adolescent clients in the Billings area and accepts most major insurance plans.
